I drew this Christmas tree with a windmill for the star for a sustainable design-build company’s holiday card. The sun & sky are part of their logo, not drawn by me.

I drew these sketches during the first comics convention I tabled at. Sketcin’ Safari: A man in glasses and shorts using a pencil to surf a wave in the ocean. Yes! Comics!: a bald cartoon man who’s very excited about comics. Breaktime: a mechanical brain with arms & legs jumps out of the head of a man. Monster Eating Child: just what it says (I was hired to do an illustration on the basis of this sketch turning up in a Google search). Lightning Polka: a man in lederhosen & sunglasses shoots lightning from his accordian.

I made these sketches while trying to figure out my previous web menu graphics. We have some hands (one of which I’m quite proud of), some close-up faces (one focused on the eye), a man with long hair, glasses, and a beard (it’s me, but looking like a stoned goth), a cluttered cabinet full of stuff behind the door, and a shady man in a trenchcoat selling comics on the street.

Drawn for a coworker’s wedding; features the happy couple, man and woman, with love a-plenty (as well as pig and clam a-plenty, since they were having a pig roast and clam bake). Ah, marriage.

Drawn for the website of a group working to create a progressive charter school; unfortunately, they weren’t able to achieve their vision. We’ve got a young person in a sweater with an apple for education, and an interconnected world behind them.
