A strange urinal and a strange security monitor at a Macy’s restroom.

1. Long stapler, wireless computer mouse, remote control, statuette of the Virgisaurus, fingernail clippers, plastic chicken. 2. Stool, bathroom sink, ceiling vent.

Some sketches of a friend; the first was drawn from life in pencil and inked later; the rest were drawn from memory. #3 shows her on a bridge over a river. #4 is of her apartment at the time; one panel is the kitchen (stove & cabinets), the other is the bedroom/living room with futon and lamp.

I made these sketches while trying to figure out my previous web menu graphics. We have some hands (one of which I’m quite proud of), some close-up faces (one focused on the eye), a man with long hair, glasses, and a beard (it’s me, but looking like a stoned goth), a cluttered cabinet full of stuff behind the door, and a shady man in a trenchcoat selling comics on the street.
