Comics
Spinning World - A strip about time, holidays, culture creation, doing it yourself and more; appearing monthly in Vermont newspaper The Commons.
2008 Anthology Previews: “Beach Hum” (Always Comix “Activity” issue) · “Apple Rant” (Seeds) · “A Night in the Studio” (Swingin’ Hits) · “Cupcake Fate” (Secrets & Lies)
Ask The Artist - How do I do it?
Poorly Maintained Machine - A fan strip for Matt Reidsma, appearing in High Maintenance Machine #20.
Vigil - Appearing in the LiveJournal Collaboration anthology minicomic, when that project eventually comes together.
The Eternal Soup - A tale of a daunting quest. Originally meant to be printed as a business-card size comic, instead appearing in Candy Or Medicine #3.
My Hourly Comic Day ‘08 - Just another day, the only difference being it was recorded in observance of Hourly Comic Day. See me get up late, eat food, walk, talk on the phone, and more!
A Grave Moment – Appearing in the Free Comic Book Day 2008 edition of Candy Or Medicine.
Farther! - My contribution to the Trees & Hills Comics Group’s Sputnik-inspired New Stars anthology, co-edited by me and available at Trees & Hills Comix Distro.
Before Sleep - From Fall 2005 to Summer 2007 I tried to fill a small sketchbook page with comics every day. I produced 300+ strips, about half of which have seen print in minicomics. I plan to collect the whole series into a book, because they’re there.
There Was This Bug - My contribution to the Trees & Hills Comics Group’s Field Guide anthology, co-edited by me and available at Trees & Hills Comix Distro.
For My Parents - An adaptation of a poem by Phavyanh Luekhamhan.
February 1, 2007 - My second Hourly Comic, drawn on Hourly Comics Day.
Do You Know About The Trees & Hills Comics Group? - My contribution to the Trees & Hills And Friends anthology, co-edited by me and available at Trees & Hills Comix Distro.
Sticks: The New Thing? - My employer at the time paid me to draw this comic illustrating the absurdity of 2x construction compared to structural insulated panels. It was supposed to go on their website, but the site’s renovation has been stalled for a couple years (I don’t even work there anymore!), so I’m not holding my breath.
Hungry Belly - An 8-pager from Square Dance #2; sort of a “director’s cut” redrawing of a story which originally appeared in a giveaway comic that was mercilessly condensed to be done in time for MoCCA.
Kleptron - A page from Keene Free Comics #8.
